Glucosamine –a natural polymer that connects bones and joints to provide cushioning during movement. It is one of the critical building blocks of joint cartilage.
Chondroitin – an important structural component of cartilage and provides much of its resistance to compression.
MSM – MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is an organo-sulphur compound. Sulphur is an important building block for healthy bones and joints and is useful for the support of a healthy immune system.
Hyaluronic Acid –a substance that is naturally present in your dog’s body. It is the major component of synovial fluid and helps to lubricate joint structure.
L- Glutamic Acid – An important metabolite for the cells lining the gut; helps promote glutamine generation, supporting absorptive function and structural integrity.
Curcumin/Piperine – Curcumin is the active isolate of turmeric and supports the dog’s natural anti-inflammatory response. Piperine is an alkaloid found in Black and Long pepper and helps to support the bio-availability of Curcumin
Collagen Matrix – Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and is a major constituent of bone, cartilage, tendon and other connective tissue. It helps connective tissue to be strong and provides cushioning for various parts of the body.
Green Lipped Mussel – Provides a natural and highly bio-available source of chondroitin. It also provides omega-3 fatty acids in a highly bioavailable form to help promote a natural anti-inflammatory response.
Salmon oil – rich in omega-3 fatty acids and phospholipids. Salmon Oil complements both krill and Green Lipped Mussel oil to provide highly bioavailable sources of EPA & DHA
Vitamin C – helps produce collagen, a protein needed to develop and maintain healthy teeth, bones, gums, cartilage, vertebrae discs, joint linings, skin and blood vessels.
Vitamin E 500 – Vitamin E compounds – including tocopherols are antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals. Vitamin E compounds are incorporated into the cell membrane and help maintain their integrity throughout the body.
Manganese –acts as a co-factor in the enzyme process of synthesising Glycosaminoglycans, cartilage matrix and synovial fluid. It also has beneficial antioxidant properties.
Beet Pulp – A good source of dietary fibre and provides prebiotic support for a healthy digestive system.
Oatmeal –provides vital beta-glucans which support a healthy digestive system and immune response.
Daily Feeding Guideline
Add to dog's normal daily food Can be given in a single amount or divided between meals Ensure your dog has access to fresh clean water at all times.
Small Dogs Up to 15kg (Measure/day)……………………………. ¼ to ½ measure/day
Medium to Large Dogs 16kg – 30kg (Measure/day)………….½ to 1 measure/day
Large to Very Large Dogs 31kg – 60kg (Measure/day)……..1 to 2 measure/day
Dogs over 60kg: allow 1/2 to 1 measure per 30kg bodyweight
Measure included in pack: 1 level measure = 10g
How many measures?
As a general guide the lower dose is for maintenance whilst the higher dose is for treatment of joint issues.
So for a 20kg dog we would recommend 1/2 a scoop for maintenance and 1 scoop if there are any signs of joint issues. Even slight stiffness following a walk or play is a sign of joint issues and therefore we would recommend the higher dose.
It may also be beneficial to give the higher dose for older dogs even if they are not yet showing signs of a joint problem.

Q: Can I feed my cat Lillidale ProJoint?
A: Yes, Lillidale ProJoint can be fed to cats per the label's dosage guidelines and our website. Though cats are often better at hiding discomfort from joint issues than dogs, they will benefit just as much from a high-quality joint support product.
Feeding guideline: For cats up to 15kg, please give ¼ to ½ measure/day.
Q. Can I feed my puppy Lillidale ProJoint?
A. Lillidale ProJoint is suitable for dogs of any age. However, puppies less than a year old will benefit only a little from a joint supplement if they have a specific issue such as an injury, pre-existing joint issue, family history of joint problems, etc.
Q. What age is it recommended to start feeding my dog Lillidale ProJoint?
A. As mentioned above, very young puppies benefit only a little from a joint supplement if your puppy has a specific issue.
The exact age it is recommended to start feeding a maintenance level of Lillidale ProJoint to a healthy dog to help support their joints throughout their life depends on the breed and situation. For example, for a large breed prone to joint issues, working dogs or those competing in agility, starting them on a maintenance level as young as 1 year old can be beneficial. For other breeds that are not prone to issues and not quite as active, it may be worth considering adding a maintenance level after 2 years of age.
Q. How do I know if my dog needs a joint supplement?
A. Many people can miss signs of joint issues in dogs as they can happen gradually as part of natural ageing. If you notice your dog is less energetic than they used to be, slower to get out of bed or go up steps, stiff after a long walk, etc., these could all be signs of underlying joint issues, including inflammation. After being provided with the Full Support dose of Lillidale ProJoint, we generally find that an improvement can be seen within 1-2 weeks. However, if you notice any potential joint issues with your dog, we recommend consulting with your vet in case of specific underlying issues.
In addition, most dogs would benefit from a joint supplement from a young age to help support their joint health throughout their life.
Q: Are there any side effects in case of an overdose of Lillidale ProJoint?
A: If fed within the recommended dosage range, unless your dog has a specific allergy to any individual ingredient, there are no known side effects from Lillidale ProJoint. If your dog experiences a large overdose, such as if they get hold of and consume the entire tub of Lillidale ProJoint, it is not likely they will suffer any adverse effects other than perhaps an upset stomach, though, in case of a significant overdose, we would always recommend you contact your vet.
Q: I have already given my dog a joint supplement. Can I add Lillidale ProJoint?
A: Lillidale ProJoint is a fully comprehensive and carefully researched joint supplement that provides optimum levels of high-quality ingredients to support all aspects of your dogs' joint health. There is no need to feed any other joint product alongside Lillidale ProJoint.
If you are already feeding your dog salmon oil for other purposes, such as to support weight gain/maintenance, this is fine to continue doing, and the calorie content from Lillidale ProJoint will not make any noticeable difference in this regard.
Q: How long will it take to notice a difference after using Lillidale ProJoint?
A: Assuming you are feeding the recommended 'Full Support' dosage for your dog's weight, then we find most people can see a difference in their dog within 1-2 weeks. However, it can take up to 30 days to see improvement.
Q: Is Lillidale ProJoint safe for dogs with sensitive stomachs?
A: Lillidale ProJoint contains gentle natural ingredients, is usually OK for dogs with sensitive stomachs, and contains ingredients that can help improve gut wall function. We recommend adding Lillidale ProHealth. This product fully supports your dog’s gut, immune system, skin, coat, and eye health, specifically focusing on gut health through high-quality probiotics, pre-biotics, and post-biotics.
Q: Can Lillidale ProJoint be taken with other medications?
A: It is best to consult your vet before introducing new supplements if your dog is on medication and/or other supplements.
Q: What happens if my dog refuses to take Lillidale ProJoint despite several attempts?
If adding Lillidale ProJoint into your dog's regular meals proves challenging due to their preference, don't worry. We stand by our product with a 30-day money-back guarantee, subject to the terms and conditions outlined here. Your satisfaction is our priority!
Q: What should I do if I don't observe any changes in my dog's condition after giving them Lillidale ProJoint daily for 30 days?
A: If your dog's condition doesn't show any improvement despite their daily Lillidale ProJoint intake, don't worry. We are fully committed to our product's effectiveness. You can use our 30-day money-back guarantee, subject to the terms and conditions outlined here. Your satisfaction always comes first for us!
Q: How does ProJoint support dogs at different stages of life, and what dosing recommendations are there for younger versus older dogs?
A: ProJoint is formulated to help support dogs’ joints throughout their life. For younger dogs and those without any joint issues, the maintenance dose is suitable to help keep joints healthy.
For older dogs and those with existing joint issues, stiffness, etc., a higher full support dose is recommended to provide a high level of support and natural anti-inflammatory to improve the condition, reduce inflammation around the joint, and see an improvement.
Q: What does the "ash content" listed on ProJoint's label mean, and should I be concerned about any associated cancer risks?
A: We assume the concern with cancer is related to the heterocyclic amines produced when charring food. However, you can rest assured that ProJoint does not actually contain any ash and is produced using very low temperatures to preserve all nutrients.
The Ash content on the label does not mean the product contains any actual Ash. It essentially refers to if the feed or supplement was heated to a very high temperature to burn off all protein, carbohydrate and fats, how much ‘ash’ or, in other words, minerals (such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc.) would remain. So, the higher the percentage of ‘ash’ mentioned on the label, the more mineral content there is in the feedstuff.
It does not mean any ash has been added, and we can confirm ProJoint contains no actual ash. The UK and EU have quite strict legal regulations on the labelling of animal feed and supplements, one of which is the legal requirement to include the ‘ash content’ as described above. The regulations do help ensure that the quality of products customers receive is the same as manufacturers claim, but it has the downside that this kind of ‘ash content’ doesn’t mean much to most people and can cause confusion.
For example, a pure magnesium supplement may contain up to 100% ash. A raw steak may have a technical ash content of 2% as it is mostly protein and fat. A typical dry dog food may be listed as 8% ash. A wet dog food, due to the high water content, would have much less remaining if everything was burnt away, so it may be listed at 2%. As ProJoint is a supplement providing higher levels of various vitamins and minerals, the ash content is of course, higher than dog food and, therefore is at 10%, meaning if you heat 100g of ProJoint at very high heat to burn off all water, protein, carbohydrate and fat you would have 10g remaining of minerals/ash.
To summarise, the listed ‘ash content’ does not mean the product actually contains ash (it doesn’t). In fact, it could be argued that the natural flavinoids in the product could help regulate apoptosis, and so may help reduce the risk of cancer, though please note this is not a claim we make as the product is aimed at joints.
Q: Why pellets?
A: In addition to the convenience of having a supplement in pellet form - which can be easily fed directly or added to a meal - there are two key advantages of pellets over powder.
1. The ingredients in supplements, like ProJoint & ProHealth, vary in both quantity and density. Mixing these ingredients is carefully controlled to ensure proper dispersion, but storage, transportation, and measuring can cause them to separate. This means that the first scoop of a powdered supplement may have different proportions than the last. However, this issue is completely avoided with the pelleting process, ensuring consistent dosing every time.
2. Another advantage of pelleting is its ability to prevent spoilage and oxidation. By compressing the ingredients, pellets remove air from the mixture. Oxygen and humidity are major factors in both spoilage and oxidation, but interestingly enough, the presence of oxygen shouldn't pose a problem since these supplements contain natural antioxidants. Nonetheless, antioxidants have multiple functions, including self-oxidation by neutralising free radicals. This reduces their subsequent effectiveness within the body.
The benefits of pelleting extend beyond just appearance; they also offer significant technical advantages.
