NEKTON-Biotin supports a smooth molting process and feather regeneration.

NEKTON-Biotin contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, trace elements and 200,000 µg biotin/kg. NEKTON-Biotin gives birds a smooth and shiny plumage.

The majority of plumage damage that occurs when keeping birds can be exclusively attributed to poor nutrition. Because the plumage consists of substance that is high in protein, a particularly rich and balanced protein diet for the bird is a prerequisite for forming an immaculate plumage. A daily diet must contain sufficient vitamins, minerals and trace elements for a functioning metabolism. Majority of animal losses that occur during the molting period is based on a lack of or unbalanced protein intake and/or an insufficient supply of vitamins and minerals. The unfavorable ratio of amino acids in most plant-based feed has been explicitly considered and balanced with regard to the composition of NEKTON-Biotin.

No other multivitamin compound should be administered whilst using NEKTON-Biotin. NEKTON-Biotin is soluble in cold water and can be administered easily via drinking water or soft feed.

Composition:
Dextrose, calcium carbonate

6,600,000 I.U vitamin A, 10,000 I.U. vitamin D3, 20,160 mg vitamin E (all-rac-alpha-tocopherylacetate), 670 mg vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate), 1,680 mg vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 3,330 mg calcium-d-pantothenate, 10,000 mg niacinamide, 670 mg vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), 225 mg folic acid, 2,000 μg vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamine), 16,670 mg vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), 1,333 mg vitamin K3 (menadione-sodiumbisulfite), 200,000 μg biotin, 2,500 mg iron (ferrous(II)-sulfate, monohydrate), 1,220 mg zinc (zinc sulfate, monohydrate), 1,255 mg manganese (manganese(II)-sulfate, monohydrate), 200 mg copper (cupric(II)-sulfate, pentahydrate), 100 mg iodine (calcium iodate, free of water)

Feeding recommendation:

1 g (= 1 measuring spoon) of NEKTON-Biotin in 250 ml drinking water or 100 g soft feed.

In cases of heavily damaged plumage, double, or even triple the dosage of NEKTON-Biotin can be given to begin with, until the first signs of plumage regeneration are visible. After that, the normal dosage will suffice until plumage regeneration is complete.

We recommend to prepare only as much drinking water / soft food as the bird consumes daily and to change water / feed daily.

Because of this supplement‘s higher content of vitamin D and trace elements than in a complete feed, it may only be added to 5 % of a bird‘s daily ration.
