  • Oligosaccharides - Prebiotic carbohydrates that encourage the growth of beneficial gut microbes, such as bifidobacter species.

Baccillus velezensis - A live strain of probiotic that, in conjunction with prebiotics, help optimise gut microflora especially in the hidgut, improving faecial condition and reducing odour.

Yeast products - A palatable postbioticthat acts as a digestive enhancer and supports the immune system, gut barrier and microbiome.

Rosehip - A source of Zeaxanthin, an antioxidant against free radicals, that supports skin, hair, and eye function.

Chaga Mushroom - A range of terpenoids, bioactives and glucans that support the 3 layers of the microbiome.

Bilberry - A source of anthocyanins that supports the microbiotica - in particular the hindgut species for skin and eye function.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) - Supports the skin and coat condition. Helps to optimise the hindgut bacteria. Supports natural anti-inflamatory processes in the gut.

Salmon oil - Source of Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA), having effects in the anti-imflamatory processes and regulatory systems.

Sepiolite (natural mineral) - Captures ingested exotoxins such as aflatoxins.

Green Lipped Mussel - Optimises the microbiome across a range of activities including immune and microbiotica support. Supports both intra- and extra- intestinal anti-inflamatory processes.

Curcumin / Piperine - Curcumin supports tight junction (gut barrier) control, its antioxidative effect maintains gut health. Piperine within the Pepper extract extends the bioavailability of the Curcumin.

Yucca Schidigera - Binds microbe generated endotoxins and improves faecal quality and odour.

Vitamins C & E - Antioxidants to help neutralise free radicals. Also supports the structural integrity of the gut wall.

Glutamic Acid - Maintains gut cell membranes and supports tissue repair.

Q: Can I feed my cat Lillidale ProHealth?
A: Yes. Lillidale ProHealth can be fed to cats per the label's dosage guidelines and our website.
Feeding guideline: For cats up to 15kg, please give 2/3 measure/day.

Q: Can I feed Lillidale ProHealth to my puppies or kittens?
A: ProHealth can be fed to both dogs & cats. As it is primarily a product that supports the microbiome and its interaction with a properly functioning immune system, it should only be introduced after weaning. Before weaning, the immune system is developing, and the gut microbe populations are not fully developed until they are on a solid diet.
The gut microbe population – the microbiota – will change as the young animal grows, but the fundamental types will be present soon after weaning and can be supported.

Q: What age is it recommended to start feeding my dog Lillidale ProHealth?
A: For both kittens & puppies, weaning usually takes place up to 12 weeks of age, allowing natural adjustment and settling of the microbiota; ProHealth can be fed from 6 months old.

Q. How do I know if my dog needs Lillidale ProHealth?
A: There will be certain signs/symptoms that your dog may benefit from ProHealth. Obvious signs include soft/hard stools, excessive smells and your dog spending too much time licking his bottom. This indicates sub-optimal digestive processes.
Listlessness and disinterest may indicate gastric discomfort and a mild immune response. This can be due to gastric upset (gut bug), ingested toxins from natural sources scavenged during walks or even a mild allergic reaction. These cues will cause disruption of the microbiota as well as challenging the gut barrier mechanisms.
Lacklustre coat, flaky skin and dull eyes all indicate a lack of bioactive components such as antioxidants and essential oils.
More severe symptoms should be referred to a veterinary surgeon, after which – as above – the gut may need to be “reset.”
These examples are associated with a microbiome that is non-functioning optimally, and the introduction of ProHealth will help return the whole system to 100%. The microbiome is the “gatekeeper” to all the subsequent metabolic functions in the dog, and its smooth running is the base for maintaining a healthy animal.
Beyond this, the gastrointestinal tract has an almost daily challenge from our best friend’s behaviour. Interaction with other dogs, scavenging, licking & drinking unknown sources can, at any time, allow ingestion of unfavourable components. If your dog is one of these, keeping him on a maintenance level would be advisable.

Q: Are there any side effects of taking Lillidale ProHealth?
A: All the ingredients in ProHealth are safe to take and have been researched for recommended maximum limits. No side effects have been recorded. Although it is possible that some individuals may experience a localised allergic response, a major function of the product is to reduce such occurrences.

Q: How long will it take to notice a difference after using Lillidale ProHealth?
A: When using ProHealth at “Full Support”, differences will be seen within 2 weeks following an observed need. Overall improvements may take longer when fed at maintenance levels, but symptoms should have settled within a month.

Q: Is Lillidale ProHealth safe for dogs with sensitive stomachs?
A: Absolutely. Ingredients and levels are designed to support the microbiome, from optimising the microbial populations through enhancing the mucilage gut barrier to supporting the gut-based immune system. Key bioactives also help regulate the absorptive function of the gut wall, which helps with sensitivity. As such, they should help support sensitive stomachs.

Q: Can Lillidale ProHealth be taken with other medications?
ProHealth is not a medication in that it optimises physiological and metabolic functions and does not “treat” medical conditions. Whilst the ingredients of ProHealth are not known to interact with prescribed medication, it is always advisable to consult your vet if your dog is being prescribed medicines.
If your dog has been prescribed a course of antibiotics, this may well disrupt gut microbiota, and subsequent introduction of ProHealth may be beneficial.

Q: Does ProHealth include added minerals?
A: No, it does not. While ProHealth doesn’t incorporate added minerals, it can still address the deficiencies you mentioned.
ProHealth is formulated to enhance microbiome functionality and boost:
💙 The gut-based immune system.
💙 Nutrient absorption through the gut lining.
💙 The interaction between different microbial communities throughout the gut.
These factors will affect mineral and trace element uptake across the gut wall. Enhancing gut health will promote greater mineral absorption. Therefore, if the daily diet already includes adequate amounts of these minerals, ProHealth should aid significantly. Check if your dog's or cat's current food provides the necessary maintenance levels of key minerals like phosphate and potassium. If so, ProHealth might be sufficient to restore proper levels by improving absorption. Otherwise, consider adding these minerals to their diet.
In conclusion, ProHealth contributes positively to better nutrient digestion and absorption overall. Nonetheless, maintaining basic dietary mineral requirements for your pets remains crucial.

Q: Why pellets?
A: In addition to the convenience of having a supplement in pellet form - which can be easily fed directly or added to a meal - there are two key advantages of pellets over powder.
1. The ingredients in supplements, like ProJoint & ProHealth, vary in both quantity and density. Mixing these ingredients is carefully controlled to ensure proper dispersion, but storage, transportation, and measuring can cause them to separate. This means that the first scoop of a powdered supplement may have different proportions than the last. However, this issue is completely avoided with the pelleting process, ensuring consistent dosing every time.
2. Another advantage of pelleting is its ability to prevent spoilage and oxidation. By compressing the ingredients, pellets remove air from the mixture. Oxygen and humidity are major factors in both spoilage and oxidation, but interestingly enough, the presence of oxygen shouldn't pose a problem since these supplements contain natural antioxidants. Nonetheless, antioxidants have multiple functions, including self-oxidation by neutralising free radicals. This reduces their subsequent effectiveness within the body.
The benefits of pelleting extend beyond just appearance; they also offer significant technical advantages.
